Meet Mark
I'm a Technical Lead who still writes code every day. Nine years in, the part I like most hasn't changed: taking something vague — a half-written spec, a design file, a bug nobody can reproduce — and turning it into something that works, and keeps working after I hand it over.
I ask the awkward questions early. I would rather raise the edge case in a design review than find it in production, and I work best on teams where design and engineering argue in the same room. When I'm not on client work I'm usually building something of my own, which keeps me honest about how long things actually take.
